It's a beautiful morning here in New Hampshire as I write this. The sun is just coming up but I can already tell it's going to be another hot day. Quick check on the weather in Wellington, Colorado, where the Soaring Wings ranch is located, confirms that they have a similar day in store.
In exactly one month, the Trinity Bible Church missions team will be on the ground in Colorado to work with the Soaring Wings Ministries team. We are still in the process of nailing down the scope of our work (see what I did there?) at the ranch. Our work is somewhat dependent on how much progress is made by other groups between now and then, but plans for the week are taking shape.

Several days ago we received good news from the Soaring Wings team. There were some questions over our ability to host a meal for the homeless in Fort Collins. Recently, due to tension between the homeless community and business owners in downtown Fort Collins, the park where the Soaring Wings staff had previously been meeting with and ministering to the homeless was cleared out and declared off-limits.
Recognizing a great opportunity to engage with both the homeless community and Soaring Wings Ministries, one of the local churches agreed to work with us to host a meal for a number of homeless families while we are there. Our thanks to both Meredith and the church for helping to enable us to engage with the homeless community in this way.
