By Dan T.
It has been two months to the day since the CO:MISSION team returned home from serving alongside Soaring Wings in Colorado, and as I write this, I'm on the second leg of my journey back to the ranch to continue the work our team started in August.
My travel today has already taken me through both Boston and Chicago (see my post about Larry and the Kid) -- a coincidence that isn't lost on me as I reflect on the people and experiences that not only brought me to the CO:MISSION team nearly a year ago, but continue to take me out of my comfort zone to live and serve in new ways.
As before, the Lord is continuing his divine orchestration -- an airline ticket won in a raffle at work (and the ability to take time off); a specific call for help from Soaring Wings; more meaningful engagements with a the homeless in New Hampshire; and a heart that has been restless since this day two months ago.
Tomorrow, Ed, Anita, and Meredith are hosting a work day at the ranch to continue work on the addition as they prepare for winter. We would love your prayers for the work and workers, that tomorrow would be a day of community building as well as building building, and that God would continue to prepare the hearts of the family that will eventually call Soaring Wings home.
I'm looking forward to spending the weekend at the ranch and catching up on what the Lord has been doing there since my last visit!
